Dmytro is from Lviv, Ukraine. He received his bachelor (2019) and master (2020) degree in Biochemistry at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. During his studies, he worked at the Institute of Cell Biology NAS, of Ukraine, where he started his scientific career and carried out researches.

 

Dmytro was mainly involved in the study of molecular biology and yeast biotechnology, his aim was to improve the ethanol production from xylose by modifying yeasts strains. In 2020, he had a good experience of working in Explogen LLC, where he began working with actinomycetes, their diversity and application.

 

Now Dmytro is interested in studying the metabolic pathways of actinomycetes and their production of various compounds. Dmytro enjoys reading, playing the guitar, running, training in the gym, cooking, travelling.
