Constanze obtained her degree as pharmacist from Saarland University in 2009 and moved on to pharmaceutical industry where she worked in analytical development for several years.

 

She returned to Saarbrücken in 2017 to join AMEG as PhD student. Her research interest includes the discovery of new microbial products from engineered actinobacteria strains.

 

Constanze is currently exploring the biosynthesis of the new bacterial metabolites.
