Christopher

Christopher received his B. Sc. Biology from the Johannes-Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, where he researched the proteolytik properties of yeast at the Institute of Microbiology and Wine Research. He then chose to specialise in the field of Biotechnology, leading to his M.Sc. Biotechnology at the University of the Saarland.

 

Under the tutelage of Prof. Claus-Michael Lehr, he studied different macrophage types as part of the Aerosafe project to find alternative drug testing methods. Now he started his research on actinomycete secondary metabolites and other natural products with the guidance of Prof. Andriy Luzhetskyy at AMEG.
