Peyton Cox
Doctoral Researcher

I am Peyton ‘’Kaliah’’ Cox. My journey in science began with studying chemistry at Steven F Austin University where I received my bachelor’s degree in a small town in Texas called Nacogdoches.
I was always extremely interested in research, science, and primarily in the education and development of passion in students for science. While studying, I also earned a teaching certification with the goal of educating high school science students. I also participated in education-focused research projects, such as the development and leading of environmental science chemistry modules for undergraduate 1st year students.
After a year of teaching chemistry and biology at the high school level, I decided to return to school for a master’s degree and relocated to Germany and since then working with AMEG.
